I've stuck by McDermott all season because he is also learning, but to go back to the same mistakes that occured at the start of the season when he'd almost found a way of getting results since Christmas is criminal.

If he stays, i'd say that he is the right man to get us out of the Championship again, but what happens then?? Does he have another go at the Prem and screw it up or do you then go for a premier standard manager?

The Premiership is no place for " learning " , it's breathtakingly naive of the Reading board to think McD can learn by his mistakes , it's now too late and we've paid the ultimate price ie relegation .

We should bring in Adkins or whoever as soon as possible, as this would allow them time to settle in and asses the squad before next seasons promotion push.

I have always had and will always have time for Brian but I think the time has come for someone with a bit more passion, so for that reason........I'm with Phil Parkinson.

He is still doing an apprenticeship at Bradford

Hahaha

I would to see Adkins at Reading, it would be a good fit. Plus I would like us to get promoted back to the PL playing decent football, rather than watching things get even worse next season with more of same shit football.

if we and the russian think we can move on next season we need to sign premiership players and we need a manager who can attract these players. Adkins, Curbishley is not that man. We need to splash the Roubles on a man who can move us on. At the moment that man is not available but in the summer he maybe. The owner needs to stop bullshitting us and tell us the truth.

I could accept the explanation from SJM about the money but the Russian needs to spend some of his pocket money!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
