Still the guy I'd like to see managing us this time next year, regardless of today's shite, and whatever the Team Board teenagers might think.

If you want a failure who buys you drinks - you're right. If fans want a Reading team who are comfortable in the Prem, lets get a decent Manager!

And here i was hoping you'd died.

It's not just teenagers. And although I'm sure you will strongly dispute it, there may well be some wisdom amongst the older ones.

I'd love to see McDermott managing us this time next year, just so long as he has taken a vow to change the style of 'football' that he gets his team to play into one that is far more like the modern style played by most of the top 20 or so clubs in this country. If he is going to do that, he may well have to change some of his coaching team and bring in some people who can help him bring about that change.

I have to agree, there is no personal vendetta against mcdermott behind my views.

If Mcdermott can show that he is capable of building and coaching a team that can keep the ball and play effective football I will be happy for Mcdermott to continue as manager. He has shown no sign of that though.

He could maybe do with some decent backroom staff support, anyone really know what Gibbs brings to the table??

Just seen him on MOTD from last night. He looks like he's lost a lot of weight...
