Royal Lady At what point does the wife ask her husband "where has all the money gone" - because I bet he didn't give her the change back. :|

As if the wife would be giving the husband money.

Exactly. It's the friendly uncle who gives the husband the money. The wife, as you might expect, has little understanding of how the family finances work.

G'La One name that hasnt been given a mention... Di Matteo?

With good reason. Not a chance he'd come to us. Why would he, when after winning the European Cup he'd have a lot bigger clubs than us to choose from if the offers came along

Perhaps, but he may want to stay in England in which case his choices are limited. Lets not forget that bar Chelsea his only other clubs are MK Dons and West Brom, both comparable in size to Reading although with a little more financial clout. His name could attract the calibre of player we were supposedly liked with in the transfer windows. I would imagine that Brian will remain at Reading whatever the situation come May.

HRH - I remember at the time of the alleged bids for Ince and Sig you came up with some equally shit analogies.

Have decent contacts at Swindon (yes, sorry, I know). From what I hear we should steer well clear of PDC. Everything you might fear and more.

I assumed that people proposing PDC were doing so on the grounds of gaining some LOLz rather than footballing success

Betfair Sports ‏@BetfairSports
Mmm. Few rumours flying around about Brian McDermott and Reading..

Really? Anyone heard anything serious? Or is BetFair trying to sound like they are in the know?

The Leeds Rhinos coach is rumoured to be in the market for a copy of the hungry caterpillar.

Think he was 16/1 to be next manager to leave at the start of the day. Now 1/4 with Sky Bet. Could just be people lumping on after hearing a bs rumour.

WicoBTG hmmmmm i am thinking Martin Allen is a good shout

Actually, as I stated elsewhere.... Pardew's great turnaround came from getting Allen in as assistant manager.

If McDermott looks at his failings and appoints trusted number 2 who isn't a yes man and whom McDermott will listen to who can cover any areas he needs assistance with then he might turn things around. Brian seems to always play good cop, he needs someone to play bad cop.

The thing that annoys me most is the endless pictures of eggs and thumbs saying AHAHAHAHAH LOLZ Look at McDermott.

It wasn't funny the first time round let alone now.

I guess its whatever im feeling at the time to make it simple for people, I used bacon as I was hungry earlier.

Seems some people need analogies to understand things.
