Absolutely the right thing to do at this point in time, thats my opinion.

We are playing the worst football since the poor run with TB1, and as bad as TB2. Sadly his style of play will not get points in the Premier League. Sad but time to move on.

I believe the new man will be announced tomorrow or wednesday at the latest, and it could be a end of season type of deal, just dont hold me to this as fact.

I am so sad for him top top guy but in my heart of hearts I feel the PL was too big a leap for him in the end.

There's no doubt he's been punished for over achieving but long term I do feel this is right. The fact he's been sacked suggests to me he was backed in the market and just spent it badly.

It's a shame he has gone as he will go down as one of best ever managers and seemed a top bloke, but for the good of the club I feel this is probably the right decision to make. That is assuming we can bring in a manager who will try to change the style in which we play and also assuming that Anton gives him time to work those changes. The next 18months or so will be a very interesting time thats for sure.

Agreed. The sentimental love-in won't keep us in this division. Lovely bloke, can't see beyond 4-4-2 or 4-5-1. We need more than that.

Why now though? Seems so odd that you would make a change with us pretty much already down rather than doing it before when the new guy could possibly save us or at the end of the season when we have to rebuild
