Nah don't think so. It will be a 'name'.

If our signings are anything to go by, it won't.

Really rate Dolan, wouldn't mind him getting the job full time tbh

Thanks for all you've done Gibbo, but the club needs some fresh ideas. Hopefully you'll get a job as the main man in the lower leagues somewhere.

The fact they've both gone does suggest a new mgt team is already lined up.........

"The club just said to me and Dill that they wanted to go in a different direction, which they are doing now" - Wally Downes on Brendan Rodgers appointment before the 4-1 loss to QPR 20th October 2009.

That's where chasing fresh ideas for the sake of it gets you.

I think in hindsight Brian should have ditched Gibbo or added someone to tighten up the defence, a bit like Pardew did with Mad Dog.

Goodbye Gibbo, him and Brian are great guys, I'm sure I'm not alone at wishing the two of them all the best, we just need to stop the rot because the board are not going to want to take the flack for the season to date.

I just hope the team buck the trend and turn up on Saturday! Come on Eamonn, what a game to take charge of - however unlikely it may be; you get a respectable performance against Man U and you will be a man my son. Get a bloody win, and you will go down in history.

Not sure I agree. Coppell resigned so it was a good opportunity to try fresh new blood & all that jazz.

In this instance we desperately need new ideas as we cannot even pass the ball.

Divvy News coming through that Jobi and Legs will take control as player managers until the summer.

nominative determinism hard at work. TBH i'd be amazed if we appointed someone before going away to OT. Getting tonked on your first outing would be most inauspicious of starts.

grey_squirrel Oxf*rd better hope Gibbs has gone with him.
Nonentity. Nothing character.

Do worse than to put Williams and Gooding in temp charge with Dellor as kitman.

Failing that appoint Gary Neville in a remote capacity. After all he got us temporarily out of the mire once before with only 30 minutes of tactics training for McDermott on MNF.

That really made me laugh out loud , you can't beat it :D

Dolan is caretaker.

LOL at you guys knowing what kind of character Gibbs is behind the scenes.
LOL at you guys just pointing the finger at the 'defensive' play. The issue is that other teams have better players than us.

Always thought that Dolan would quite likely be Reading manager one day; maybe it's now.

Not being funny but I wouldn't know what Dolan looked like if he bumped into me and I've been a season ticket holder for many many years
