floyd__streete http://www.readingfc.co.uk is like a veritible tumbleweed today, as it always is when something significant happens. At least we're spared the usual drivel about Sean Morrison's breakfast or a #flamey goal that someone scored in training.
Be nice if our owner could spare us a few words by way of tribute to the man he sacked and - y'know - perhaps a plan for the future, rather than KGB-esque secretiveness. And has anyone heard from our squeaky-voiced DoF of late, Mr Teflon himself.

At the start of the season, I recall you hoping this would be the recrimination season where all the karma for the good things burst forth like a particularly pus filled sore.
Well, you got it.

Caskeys Lovechild .......what is quite clearly the worst decision in the history of this football club, and one which will ultimately see us spiral into a decline of Leedsesque proportions........

Find criticism of Hammond a bit weird. He has done a decent job IMO and the role of the Director of Football, ideally, is to be a long term
appointment that sees long term improvement. In addition to that, he does lots of things that enables the manager to concentr8 on management/coaching.

Hammond was here when we were last in the PL and saw how we failed to invest in the playing squad enough, ultimately ending with relegation. Why he hasn't done more about it on this occasion remains to be seen.

Libertine It would be nice to get at least some sort of boilerplate release stating that the club is actively looking for a replacement to help us stay up instead of silence. It would be a bit more reassuring from the fans point of view. Silence makes it seem like they have no idea what to do or what they are doing...
