Please not Di Canio. We'll be such a laughing stock.

2 world wars, 1 world cup
Silver Fox
Wycombe Royal Impeccable? He lost more games than he won and had a net transfer spend of around £30m.

I'm fairly sure he doesn't know what impeccable means

7wins from 9 games saving them from certain relegation
Next season top 10 finish from a side previously being dead certs for relegation despite key injuries
A good start to following season before he left.

I recommend freedictionary.com mate.

but you don't mention the massive transfer budget he had...to be honest most managers could have done what he did spending that much.

I'm not sure I'd leave PSV when they're one point off the lead of the Eredvisie for Reading, personally, but fair play to Anton if his powers of persuasion are up to it.

Starting to think presense of Di Canio is really just a coincindence based on the current BBC article being ran on him

He is literally just watching premier league games and training sessions in order to learn.

of course you do realise if Dolan does a half decent job he will be offered the job, I think BM (from memory) lost 3 of the 5 games as caretaker boss before being installed.

That was under SJM. Not sure AZ will operate the same way but time will tell.

De Telegraaf appear to be suggesting he may join us at the end of the season.

I had a small punt at him, but was thinking he may take it at the end of the season as a longshot.
He is currently manager of PSV and one point second to Ajax.
why do you get the feeling?

Could be interesting if Dolan takes the team to Man Utd, bearing in mind he would have had them since today for training. Can almost imagine Fergie putting out an A- team (let's face it, do they have a B team?) with big centre backs etc etc and suddenly finding an RFC team knocking the ball around like the Academy...... can imagine him in the dug out........

'Oi Pish, Reading can pass. Who knew?'

We all know chances are we will lose then but would just be nice to spring a little surprise at the home of the champions elect.

I was actually thinking of the first team, but I guess it is asking Eamonn to work miracles with some of them in the next few days (not mentioning any names!)
