MmmMonsterMunchfloyd__streeteMmmMonsterMunch Like I said on another thread, I reckon Anton did this with a heavy heart & waited as long as he felt he could. He genuinely wanted Brian to succeed IMO & wasn't waiting to pounce far from it.
Hence why (if he was going to do it at all) he made the decision 3 months too late? Dithering idiocy from AZ.
You can argue for both sides. I'd rather he did it now than in June TBH.

Royalwaster Odds on Di Canio have suddenly gone from evens to 3:1 with RDM new favourite .... let's hope they know something we don't!

MmmMonsterMunch All this relegation on their CV stuff is bollox & wouldn't make any difference to anyone's chance of gaining employment in future if that chairman had any brains.
Reading are a decent outfit these days & we can get someone decent in.

Whether our owner has 'any brains' is certainly still open for debate.
I am still unsure whether anyone worth their salt wants to be connected with the car crash that our final last 9 games will amount to. Football people have their pride/arrogance to consider. We'll see eh.

ZacNaloen Now, I know talksport actually don't know much of anything. But Adkins at Reading? I think he'd thrive here personally.

floyd__streete My flow chart wrt managerial appointment:
Nigel Adkins > Roberto Di Matteo > Poyet > may as well get Brian back <> Parky > Curbishley > Eamonn Dolan > any one of the usual unemployed losers linked with such jobs > having no manager at all > folding the club > Phil Brown > Di canio.

ZacNaloen Poyet strikes me as being too much too fast like Brendan was. Would be willing to adapt to his style over time or try and bring it in straight away?
