Ian There was a really well written article in one of the last editions of The Whiff which set out very clearly how football clubs structure their finances. It contained the sort of information those in board rooms would rather the fans did not get to know.
Now how about STAR launching a campaign to get the club to publish the accounts in the match day magazine. That would be a really useful contribution to creating an informed supporter base.

Don't launch a campaign. Just follow these guidelines and publish the records to STAR members.
