RoyalistChristof Well, bearing in mind that the Arbour Vale plan was fully supported by the Council, included in the Local Plan, and was awaiting planning permission, there didn't seem to be any reason not to believe that it would get the go-ahead.
The crowds aren't great, averaging 230 (still the highest in the Division) and they won't go up until we either get out of the Division or get back into the town, so I'm sure that investment is a concern. Windsor again? Who knows, just feel that it's not sustainable long-term outside of the town unless they get a very good deal somewhere.
Yep seemed nailed on so guess there is no plan b and Slough will have to go back to the drawing board. Is it sensible for a homeless club with no new ground on the horizon to be looking at playing at any level higher than what you are currently in? I'm not sure.
Wonder if higher crowds at Windsor were more to do with no recession or its just an easier place to get to and gives you residents of Slough a chance to get on the right side of the river!

You have to wonder why the players involved don't say they played in an earlier round in cases like this. Really is pub football mentality!

Royal Rother The schedule is in for Guernsey's remaining fixtures.
Get this....
17 (yes, that's seventeen) League games in April.
3 times they are playing on mainland on a Friday night, with a 3pm KO the following day in Guernsey!
I guess they'll have to have a Home Squad and an Away Squad.

Not actually playing tomorrow either - scheduled to host South Park on Sunday 17th - Epsom & Ewell away on Tue night (@ Mertsham FC); then Spennymoor in the first S-F next Sat 23rd, followed by Farnham Town the following day (Sun 24th) KO tba. - their pitch is going to be well worn too.
