Top 20 Reading goals 1993 - 2012

A good watch.

I always expected Blakey's lob and Kitson's overhead to be there near the end. Had forgotten about Lita vs West Brom though; great team move with an incredible shot at the end.

Oh my God that Lambert goal was one of the most insanely celebrated goals n the old Southbank. I almost shagged about four guys by mistake in the ensuing chaos.

Jamie Lambert, quite possibly my favourite Reading player of all time, and quite possibly one of the most underdeveloped talents ever for us.

If Messi had scored that goal commentators would be creaming their pants.

Happy days... I wish I was a teenager on the old Southbank again :( *sighs longingly*

Was that Quinn guy really that mighty? I bet he was nowhere near as good as Pogrebnyak.

Lambert's goal vs Forest is still one of the best I ever saw at Elm Park. That wasn't that long after Giggs scored a similar goal for United. Shame the boy never lived up to his growing reputation. He ended up in sales working in Theale, and still is in sales. Shame.

Matejovsky is one I always remember.

Always been fond of corner routines and, the first goal from the 2 - 0 against Boro last year was a nice one.

Also remember seeing this corner against leicester from one Brendan Rodgers first few games http://www.tubechop.com/watch/1025709 if that had gone in it would definitely make the list.

In terms of his contribution to Reading he was many times better than Pogrebnyak.
In my opinion he was a better footballer, certainly better to watch.

I many have missed it but where is Cureton's goal V Brentford?

Lovell V Tranmere in Playoff away leg - great team move - ripped them apart.

So many that could have been included. One of my favourites was Archie's volley v Hartlepool in 93/94. The ball dropped over his right shoulder and he volleyed it into the back of the net without breaking stride. Simon Osborn's header v Wolves in THAT game was also a bit special. Interesting to see just how poor the quality of football is now compared to even a few years ago.
