soggy biscuit I don't get why they keep making comments about how they think we are probably going down so why would he join us. Do they realise we all know we are as good as relegated and the next appointment is all about someone who can take us back up?

Agreed, and they're not exactly bankers for promotion themselves.

According to BBCRB sport news just now, RFC would have to pay Brighton £2 billion in compensation if we get Poyet. LOLz.

Totally agree. It's bizarre how they think they're such a massive club in comparison to us. They may get bigger crowds etc but at the end of the day surely it's all about the league table?

Also, who gives a shit about who's bigger or smaller? Liverpool are a 'bigger' club than Man City, but you'd pick City over Liverpool all day long.

Reading North Stand Chat they do come across as the most arrogant football fans in the football league.

bigmike My Sources have confirmed that the club are looking to have a new manager in place before the close of businesss Friday.

It is already a fact proven without doubt that your sources are the voices that chatter along inside your own deluded mind.

Having said that you might by chance be right this time as my sources confirm that an appointment is likely before close of the day on Friday.

@jonathanl50
Possible announcement on Poyet tomorrow by #readingfc but still speculation. Adkins is preferred back-up should Poyet reject offer.

That jonathanl50 really knows his stuff. That could have been written at any time, by anyone, since the Poyet speculation started.

I'm issuing a yellow warning for an anti-climactic conclusion to all this.

Breaking news: Poyet might be announced as new manager tomorrow by #readingfc but still not certain. Adkins might be announced the following week, but also not certain.

These discussions happen every time we are managerless, lots of names flying around, then we appoint from within (the cheap otion) granted before its always been SJM, if AZ does the same then I despair
