I haven't been following the news much today, is there anything vaguely official which says Poyet has turned us down or is it just twitter rumours???

Great news all round!!!!

FFS READING GET CURBISHLEY

My number one all along
Plus I happened to speak to a WH friend today who thinks he's a deity, he can't understand why we haven't approached him yet
Neither can I
As I've always said Curbs>>>> Adkins>>>>>>>>>Poyet

GET HIM NOW FFS ANTON!!!!!

The only thing that will mitigate he loss of Brian, for me.

If we don't get someone good this will all have been a monumental ****up by the kid on top.

ANTON, TALK TO CURBISHLEY.

by Millsy » 22 Mar 2013 01:49

My number one choice and >>>>>>>>>>Adkins or poyet.

I can't believe he's not even tried???

Anyone who doesn't know about him (most I would imagine judging by the voting) just look him up.

Out of work and refreshed, infinitely better record than Adkins+Poyet together.

Should have been England manager.

An absolute no brainer.

I'm delighted these nobodies haven't worked out, now we can go for my man.... GET CURBISHLEY NOW!!!!!!!!

Out of work and refreshed

I think he has gone past the stage of being refreshed... he has been out of the game for way too long!

winchester_royal earlier today Someone's just placed a bet of around £1300 on Poyet joining at 1.6 on betfair

I bet this guy is nursing a pint right now. If he can afford one.

I suggest that you go into the bathroom, look in the mirror, and give yourself a damned good talking to. Biggest load of bollocks I have ever read.

Seriously, it's time to put all this to bed, and bring back the dream team.

Mick Gooding and Jimmy Quinn, here we come!

Lets move on, if we bring BM back what happens if we go down the tube, could we sack him again without the board imploding?, he`s gone, let`s leave it that way.

Precisely. Be even worse if/when Adkins turns us down!

Personally I'd rather have Curbishley over Adkins but in the perfect world I want to see Reading make an exciting and ambitious appointment as manager. Poyet had a tinge of that but no doubt found that there wouldn't be any more cash available here than he'll have at Brighton next year.
