Relax everyone. I just did the BBC Predictor and we end up 11th with 40 points. All very comfortable in the end.

Well its looking like 35 points there or thereabouts is going to be the target.

Realistically I think Sunderland and West Ham might be worrying a lot come the end of the season.

If we pick up anything at all from the Arsenal game it will be a huge huge bonus if anyone offered me a point now I would bite their hand off for it.

Look to (afc) Wimbledon! (For hope...)

by redscot » 23 Mar 2013 17:55

Some weeks back Wimbledon where bottom of League 2. Now they are 5 points clear of the drop. They have the worst goal difference and looked clear to drop out of the league. Football365.com have started a run-in table which does not look to good in Reading favour, but a few wins and things change again.

Stringing wins together in the Football League is worlds away from stringing wins together in the Premier League.

Was not asking for wins on a string, every other game is fine with me...

Just resign yourself to going along for the rise. It's far easier that way.

The only way we may do a Wigan is if we sign Curbs ;)

I don't think we can, but I do think we will put up a decent fight and pick up a few points, I was fed up of being the nearly men this year and not seeing and improvement game after game was sooo frustrating, the team will grow very strong next year and we will lose a few good lads too but then build on what we have with a few decent players. With the backing we have things are at least going to be interesting.

Just completed the predictor, and came up with:

14 WHU -20 37
15 AV -30 37
16 REA -23 35
17 NOR -33 35
18 SUN -20 34
19 WIG -30 32
20 QPR -30 27

Only with us beating WHU and SUN losing to Spurs on the last day. Too close for me!

We have won 5 games in the last 30 so it should be very easy winning 5 of the last 8.

I see a comfortable survival coming!
