Uke Bloody Hell, just noticed AZ's comb over to hide his hair loss

I'd have that hair line in exchange for a Victoria secret model. :D

Where are you going to get a billion quid from though?

You're not trying to say she's with him for his money are you???

mr_number My feed was a bit shite there - what was Anton saying about money in January? He said we should have spent more, but I couldn't tell if he answered the question about whether he made money available...

He mumbled that he never gave Brian enough dosh and thought the existing players were good enough but this was a mistake

He didn't say that. He said there was a budget there, but he thinks we should have been more active. Suggesting we didn't spend what was there, but not quite making it clear what he meant.

edit/ Now he's said BM should have done more, so confirming the budget wasn't spent.

I think Adkins thinks we're a good football club

That's not how I heard it. He said there was a joint decision made and that he didn't want to talk about but that he felt we should've spent more in January and that we should've been more active in the transfer market.

That's how I heard it too. Considering we were allegedly after Ince, Aspas & Sigurdsson, I have the feeling the funds were made available and Brian failed to attract the players he wanted- something that may have swayed Anton's decision.

The guy from Sky's questioning just shows how they have their story written long in advance and are fishing for quotes to back it up.

They obviously want to make Zingaravich out as the bad guy for sacking McDermott and not giving him the backing in the transfer market, despite it appearing that he has giving him the backing.

A few uncomfortable moments with Madejski's comments early on. He sounded a bit out off the loop and probably finding it a bit hard with the sacking of McDermott and the fall out from that decision.

Maguire I love the way people are making out Adkins had Southampton playing like Brazil. He's already said we move forward twice, lol

At least we'll move forward with the ball at our feet, rather than 30 yards above the centre circle.

Anybody else think the admission that there was no scouting done at all is absolutely criminal for a Premiership club?!

Completely explains why we were lumbered with Gunter, McLeary, Akpan and Blackman so soon after we played against them.

Is Steve Shorey still at the Club? If so, what does he do these days?!

Think he's more hinting that we didn't have a good scouting set-up as we were promoted to the PL almost prematurely. So had to rely on English-based players.

Exactly that - we were scouting for players for the Champ, got promoted unexpectedly, so hadn't been scouting the right types of players before the summer. It's been said before by Brian etc as well.

How long before someone photoshops Adkins on the touchline with a dog on a leash?

Wonder how the Anton haters are going to spin that one to make it still look like it was all his fault? I think that was pretty clear.
