Carrico Watch

by LoyalRoyal22 » 27 Mar 2013 18:21

I feel this deserves its own thread

We seen pictures of him in training this week, but i thought he was injured? If Fitness was just the problem he would have played for the under 21`s...

So why has he not been involved? And how can the club get away with not telling there paying supporters whats happening

Answers would be lovely...

He was as injured as Guthrie, and Federici many months ago, i.e. not.

He probably reacted to being subbed at half-time, which to be fair was probably a bit hard to take, and he spoke out like the others did and was subsequently nobbled by the manager. Hopefully everyone now gets a fresh start and can play a key part here as we move forwards.

He looked like he was blowing out of his arse after 20 minutes of his one 45 minute appearance. He's had strapping on a leg as well I understand.

Sounds to me, like he's got a niggly little injury that keeps him from reaching full fitness, but can still train a lot of the time trying to get there. It looks a little like our medical was shoddy. Pure speculation at this point, but it's not looking good for him.

He must have been good to captain Sp Lisbon. Doesn't mean he still is.

McDermott saw him pass a football along the floor once and he's been 'injured' ever since.

Because you pay to watch a football match in the same way that you pay for a Mars bar from Smiths. You have no more right to demand information about Carrico from the club then you do about Smith's owner's inside leg measurements.

Any info they choose to give us is on their terms because they want to give it. That's all.

A signing sponsored by You Tube (and watched by McDermott having mislaid his glasses)

Lets hope he is costing us less than Winston Bogarde did Chelsea.

I find this all a bit strange, in 2010 this guy was linked with Man City, Atletico Madrid and Juventus and then he comes to us plays 45 min then never heard of again

guthrie was dropped due to being a dick. manager said he was being dropped for being a dick.
why would he then go back and try to cover it up by saying it was injury?

dont think shoddy at all.
an inurury doesnt necessarily mean you fail medical and dont get signed, its simply one of the tools we used to get a very good price for the lad.
