The players will be buoyed by Adkins arrival and will be putting that much more effort in to impress him. We could spring a surprise and maybe wreck Arsenal's top 4 finish

Arsenal 1-2 Reading

Same as the last thread on the subject:

sandman 4-0 Arsenal

Cue chants of "We'll never play you again" from the Gooners who, incidentally, are never going to win a trophy again.

Ok it might be 3-0 instead due to slight new manager syndrome.

Pi*s of with your realism. Arsenal 34-18 Reading. All goals scored by the 4th official.

I know it's hardly comparable, but we really struggled there this year but in the return fixture at SMS, Adkins had, by then, rectified a lot of our defensive frailties.

I think you've got to go there and give them a game, like Wigan did last year. That said, a few sides in recent times have shut up shop at the Emirates and Arsenal didn't know how to break through them.

I don't know what the score will be but you might run them close if they pass themselves to death and don't bother shooting...

A few weeks ago I'd've said any score was possible, mainly
because Arsenal were all over the place.

But they seemed to have got it together, and under McD I'd've been happy losing 2-0

IOt may be too early for NA but I think it will be closer and I go 1-1 or lose 2-1 late on if the Gods are not with us.

ive paid £25.50 to watch us get spanked :D

our season starts against soton, we have to win 5 games of 8, lol

arsenal A 0-3
Soton H 2-1
Fulham A 2-1
Liverpool H 1-2
QPR H 2-1
Norwich A 2-1
Man City H 1-2
West ham A 1-1

If we get to West ham needing a win to stay id take that but cant see it happening

Going for the same result and same performance level as we had a Old Trafford. I think the "Adkins" factor will give us a lift, but Arsenal are a top side and we simply don't have the players to compete at their level.

1-0 to the Arse.
