soggy biscuit Sausage man - how will Nigel react to no atmosphere, song sheets and rumblestix?
Probably the same way he reacted to two mascots dancing to Gangnam style whilst at Saints.

The Naughty Sausage Good evening gentlemen (and women!?) and thank you for your replies and welcomes, it is appreciated. I'll stick around as long as I'm welcome and of course, with NA managing you guys now, I'll always have more than a passing interest in how you do - as I think a few Saints fans will also have, too.
It's a tough ask for Saturday but with the defenders you have at your disposal and with Andy Crosby's help, Nige might be able to keep it fairly tight at the Emirates. Problem is, Arsenal will always have chances. Then again, it's football, anything can happen and in NA you have one of football's winners.
I'm very confident when I say you'll enjoy his tenure in charge, whatever division you're in next year. Once he's been given a bit of time to get his ideas and approach across and bring in his own players, you'll start to see a pleasing change in what I assume, was a rather "dour" style under McDermott.
He'll start his PMA work soon, I'm sure and once you've all start buying into that like the players, they'll respond and you will too. It's funny, really, but what he says and does really impacts the supporter base and playing staff and in turn, it eventually becomes a continuous cycle of positivity. You'll soon become a united club and the "feel-good" factor will return with NA in charge, I'm sure.
He'll probably wind up a few opponents on the way, too. I used to love reading the "Adkins is a smug ****" comments on other fans boards
The truth is though, he's a just a bloody nice guy and good at what he does. Jealousy, eh?
Anyway, good luck to you!

Nigel's football philosophy
Manager Nigel Adkins has pledged a passing mentality in his team.
The boss is keen to play attractive football and has immediately set about implementing his strategy at Hogwood Park.
He said, "I want us to pass the football, I want us to win games, I want us to enjoy everything we do.
"We will work hard, we will be structured, we will be organised and everyone will pull in the same direction. I know that's something that has been demonstrated in the last few years at Reading anyway.
"It's a change, we need to keep building on the things that are good. I want us to pass the football without fearing of losing it, our teams have notoriously done that, we look to score goals, and look to control games.
"Those changes don't have to wait until the summer and we've started now. You can’t do everything in one go, but we do need to make some changes to what I want. Gradually we introduce them so that they can take it on board. Sometimes you put the change in and it does take a little bit of time, you need a period of time to that bed in and become more proficient."
Nigel and assistant Andy Crosby have held a number of discussions with both players and staff, recalling, "We were all in a room together, I've done a presentation and we got a good interactive talk going. That's what I wanted. I've got a lot of belief, there's an inner belief amongst the players, you can see the camaraderie, the spirit, they work hard. They've traditionally worked hard. Now what we have to do is galvanise ourselves. It’s an 8 game season, what we've got to do is work through one game at a time.
"The players were very close with Brian, he was very successful here at Reading – but we've all moved on. I’m in charge now and we've got to be together. The reaction we've had on the training ground and in the meeting this morning was very good, very interactive, which is what I wanted. Everything was very, very positive today.
"We’re in the Barclays Premier League and we want to remain here. We've worked hard to get to this position, we need to keep working hard, be efficient in everything we do and give us an opportunity to win new games of football."
