Has Zingarevich been given a consultancy role there?

... and we thought our timing was dodgy.

Clearly the seniors at Sun'lan think they're in deep doo-doo.

What they need is a passionate motivator of men with a strong affiliation with the club.

Martin O'........ dear

Sacking O'Neil really does smack of desperation.

Really hope Villa & Wigan stay up, as I dont think either of them are dumb enough to panic and sack their managers

QPR, Reading, Sunderland please

Indeed.

Even if Sunderland do stay up, which team would you rather have followed this season between us and them? Honestly, at least our season has had highlights, like January for example. They've had nothing of note whatsoever this season. They've had a rubbish, shitty, boring, depressing slog of a season so far and relegation would just top it off. Not even a spectacular relegation either. Something really dull and nondescript, like the club itself. At least our season has been exciting and, at times, hopeful. We knew we'd go down anyway.

Teams like Sunderland and Stoke (particularly Sunderland) just make me think "is mid-table Premier League football really all that fun?"

No. No it isn't.

A very wise man once told me that the league table doesn't lie.

Having said that, who the hell are they going to get ...... Di Canio ? McDermott ?

Just had a long chat with a Macam friend of mine who tells me Di Canio has just left the training ground and it's a done deal.
My mate is not a happy bunny

Could be proved wrong but replacing the highly experienced and hugely respected Matin O'neil with the totally inexperienced (premiership wise) and not very respected Di Cannio, with 7 games to go, smacks of complete and utter madness

Macam mate used the word 'bonkers' and that's just what it looks like.
I would normally feel sorry for him but to have someone in a worse position than us (on the grounds that I'm already convinced we're down and he's still got/had hope) is at least a crumb of comfort

It's the nuclear option for the Mackems.

It's either going to go horribly wrong or it could prove to be a very (short-term) clever appointment.

My money's on the latter.

This will be brilliant, he will fall out with half the squad before they are even relegated and then get paid off for for 2 years of his 2.5 year contract.

He'll be alright up there in Sunderland, as he struggles with the English language too.

It's a good job Lee Catermole is injured - that'll at least postpone the training ground punch up
