sandman Reading 10-0 Southampton

Leigertwood x5
McAnuff x5

As the final goal goes in they both do a lap of the pitch flicking the v's at the entire Stadium.
+11

Royal Lady
Ian Royal 1-2 to Saints.
Pogrebnyak.

Much recriminations, gnashing of teeth and wailing follows as people expect Adkins to turn around a team in abject form in the space of 10 days.

Realistically, how long should we give him? Until Christmas?

Thing is, he was obviously brought in to try and keep us up, or we may as well have stuck with McD until end of season - so how long do we give him in that case?

You keep banging on about him being brought in to keep us up, but AZ isn't stupid, and he knows the chances are very slim! He also said Adkins has been brought in with the short and LONG TERM in mind. Talk of giving him until Christmas is quite frankly embarrassing.

Russian businessmen aren't exactly known for their patience especially those of them who own football clubs.

Royal Lady
Ian Royal Only to those who are hard of thinking like yourself. He was actually obviously brought in to build a slightly new playing style and keep us / get us back in the Premier League.

He should get until Xmas 2014 at least, preferably 2015, providing he is doing a reasonable job. So keeping us above about 16th in the Championship in the first season, preferably top 12. And improving on that in the second season, preferably making at least top 6.

Basically it all depends on context and performance.

No shit.

You asked the question, if it was so obvious why bother?

An extemely dissapointing season in the prem and seems like every game has become more and more woeful, doesnt take a newbie to see that over rated players and poor sigmings are responsible for this dire situation, bring on the championship and maybe ,just maybe..... 0-3 Southampton

Thought Soton were excellent against the Bindippers and Chelsea and if they produce anywhere near that form, then we are mullered. Jay Rodriguez is beginning to look really good and Lallana and Lambert will be serious threats.

1-3

Hunt

Saints fans to thoroughly outsing us and Adkins forgets which club he manages, celebrating their goals and shouting tactics at them.

Of course, throughout Europe the Scummers are reknowned for their fantastic and noisy support.

Heart says 1-0 Reading win, but head says 1-1 draw. Southampton have really done well against the top teams, but they have also had some very mediocre performances against lesser profile teams.

Also think the 'Adkins Factor' will play a part in it and he will have had a little longer to prepare the team.
