Platypuss WTF was the lino doing for the first PSG goal? Jeez, even the ref could have called the offside from his position.

You can't even say it was a close call or a separate phase of play or that it looked like it came off a Barca head

YateleyRoyal
MouldyRoyal Decent goals all round. Alves' pass for the opener was outrageous. Could also do without the theatrics but English football is only marginally better.

L'equipe have given Becks a 3/10 for last night - harsh to say the least.

No,they were right and the British media wrong.
ITV's coverage,as Silver Fox always says,is cringeworthy and last night they excelled themselves.
I would blame Ancelotti for last night's team selection,if they had started with any different midfielder they might have won the game as their tempo improved so much when the old boy (booked for a late tackle) strolled off.
I hope RFC players watched the game and understood (we can but hope) that the best players are forever on the move and trying to find that extra yard rather than being stood still and waiting to see what happens.

I did like that when that presenter said something like 'Beckham claims he is as fit as ever' one of the pundits corrected him saying 'no he isn't, he is 37 so that's impossible'

Not saying that he had a stellar game but to play at that level and have a 3/10 then you have to have a shocker. I wouldn't say Becks did that, he was just pretty anonymous for his time. 5/10 for me.

As for the rest, Silva was solid and deserved his MOTM. Moura looked very good and I liked Veratti when he came on. Pastore was anonymous and a big disappointment. For Barca, Alves was the only one who really stood out for me.

No one on the pitch deserved a 3. Decent game.

Young Verrati looked good. Shame he didn't start but I can see why, at 20 years of age, Ancellotti went for experience.

Barca never look quite as dangerous without Messi. I was going to say "toothless" but that's rather unfair. Still seem to lack someone who can be relied on to put away the decent chances they create without him. Sanchez was a bit disappointing for me.

YateleyRoyal I commentated on that one so watched from start to finish. Haven't enjoyed a game like that for quite a while. Top quality stuff from PSG, and a draw was no less than they deserved.

For ITV?

Isco Vs Goetze should be interesting

Isco has looked like some player whenever I have seen him in La Liga so far. Destined for a big money move this summer by all accounts

La Liga giants Barcelona have filed a complaint to Uefa about the refereeing of Wolfgang Stark in their Champions League draw at Paris St-Germain

Anyone else not feel sorry for Barca after years of decisions going their way in games

Barca, for all their 'beautiful' football, are pretty odious tbh. When you're that technically gifted there is absolutely no need/excuse for the amount of diving/cheating/moaning that they produce on a weekly basis.

Last season, I saw a passage of play when a defender dived to successfully get a goal against disallowed. I swear it would have been easy to, y'know, defend in the first place.

The amount of off-the-ball stuff the other day was LOLable. Pique and Busquets in particular are guilty of just getting in people's way.
