St. Brynjar Gorkss wasn't as bad as people say he way. Neither was Gunter actually, who I hope stays and plays a big part in our Championship campaign.

Erm, yes they were. Thought Gorkss was our best player last season but this year he was really shaky. Morrison looked like a rock next to him.

Gunter and Cummings were both alright going forward, but defensively they were all over the place.

All three are good Championship players and hopefully will play a part next season. I'd quite like to see Gunter play left back.

Royal Ginger I usually don't shy away from these sorts of things, but i'm finding this a bit distasteful. Some of these guys might read this and that doesn't sit well with me.

Yeah cos seeing a poll is so much worse than reading the absolute slaughtering half of them have had on here in other threads.

If they're reading HNA? they need to have thicker skins than getting upset about appearing in a worst player of the season poll.

It's got to be easier to shrug off a few negative comments then being voted the worst player in the team. But i do get your point.

No surprise to see everyone's favourite scapegoat Leigertwood winning this one. I accept he's been poor this season and isn't Prem standard but also feel he's been unfairly singled out. My vote went to Guthrie - every bit as poor as Leigertwood this season but with a shit attitude to go with it. At least Leigertwood always gives his all and played a key role in getting us to the Prem in the first place. His goal v Fulham was a bit special too.

Its a no brainer - Guthrie

No class on the pitch, or off it.

floyd__streete Karacan 1 vote. Leigertwood 30. I know which one of these two has at least looked halfway decent in a handful of games this season.....and it isn't Flaaaaaaaaaaame himself.

ROFLeading fans - you all deserve to be relegated too, y'know.

I was the 1 before others joined the flame-hating bandwagon 8)

Karacan has disappointed me this season, runs around without ever imposing himself even slightly on the game. Leigertood for all his faults does at least have some positive impact on the game.

Saying that, I don't think any player deserves to be ridiculed like this. Noone has dramatically under-performed, we've just looked what we are. A perfectly functional Championship team.

Gorkss was bad but there was a stage when people blamed literally everything on him, even more of a scapegoat than Leigertwood. Really felt for him at times.

Gunter had a very shakey start but after his reintroduction to the side he looked a much better player, especially going forward, and I remember being dissappointed with the singing of Kelly as Gunter had hit his stride. Obviously Kelly has been far better since.

I know the majority of Reading fans cannot stand Warnock-but as soon as QPR reached the Premiership-Elwood and Gorks were shipped out.He was proved right.

1.Gorkss- Was horrific to watch him play this season, I mean he was great last season and was one of the reasons we had the best defence in the league but this season he did cost us quite a few goals.
2.Harte- All he can pretty much do is kick it with his left foot... Even then he over hits every single corner or free kick we ever have so there's really no point in him ever playing for us again. There was no real reason to drop Shorey anyway as he was probably the most consistent performer in the first half of the season.
3.Undecided: Karacan- Can't pass to save his life. Ledge- Has had the odd game that he has been very good (Newcastle, Man Utd, Fulham...etc) but apart from that has been so bad it hurt at times. Mcanuff- Again has had the odd game but in the others... Completely useless. Can 100% see why he never played for a premier league team before us.

Not a nice thread to have but I suppose this is easier than saying positive things about a team at the bottom of the league...

Federici - his awful form and social media outbursts at the start of the season set the tone for us and left a huge black cloud over the club.

Gorkss-----(enormous distance)-----Legs--Gunter

Gorkss was basically a car crash from day one this season, which seems so strange as it isn't as if he was being asked to do anything he wasn't capable of. Can't help but feel his rotten early season form helped in part to shoot the confidence of the entire team.

Legs has been up and down, though more down than up. However when he has been good he has been merely ok, whilst when bad he has been terrible. The last game against Arsenal was as poor a performance by a Reading player as I can remember (that backheel to noone in particular will live long in the memory).

Gunter is based as much on the gap between expectation and performance as anything. Was a signing I was really happy with, thought it made the right back position look pretty well sorted, but ended up not being any better than what we had. Ok, but not great going forward...a liability at the back.

Not sure who "Elwood" is, but we signed Leigertwood in November; 6 months before QPR were promoted.
