West Stand Man My Wednesday supporter friend would not entirely agree with that. Antonio has had a reasonable but not great season in his eyes.

USA_Loyal_Royal Ive been following his career ever since he left us and he has truly come good in the championship. he could have been a huge asset to us if we had the foresight to have kept him. antonio, HRK, kebe, mccleary would have been an incredible force on the wings in the championship and with some more experience they could do well in the premier league too. maybe adkins will see him as a player he will want to bring in over the summer if Sheffield Wednesday get relegated?
this may have been one of the bigger mistakes BM made, unfortunately.

Antonio wanted to leave. His choice. We helped his career no end, good luck to him.

interesting. i would assume that 9 goals in 38 matches with 12 assists for a winger would constitute as a great season. when is the last time we had a winger get 9 goals in a season in ANY league?

Barry the bird boggler Rather have had Antonio on the wing that McLeary or even Robson-Kanu. Antonio is more direct, more of a physical presence and gave us the ability of a long throw option.
Still it's always easier with hindsight.

6 Million Dollar Man Agree entirely about Henry...I always thought it was very short sighted of Coppell to let him go. Although I understand alot of that was down to his attitude. He has shown that with the right management, he has become a really talented player...always looks awesome against us now!
