Mariappa not tracking back and losing his man who then slots the ball into the net. Mariappa has been shite recently. That's 2 new CB's to add to the shopping list over the summer.

Karacan too. Should have been a midfielder tracking him IMO.

O well, we knew we were shite, confirmed. Got to stick with trying to play football and build for the future. We look so pedestrian, they move the ball and we look like kids (and not skilful ones either). Lot of work to do!

Looks in. For as poor as we have been all season, we've been on the wrong end of poor decisions far more than we've benefitted from them.

Archie's penalty
Big Ern Team selections really is akin to rearranging the deck chairs on the Titanic. No real quality anywhere in the squad with maybe the exception of Kebe. To be honest we never look like scoring from open play when Kebe is out.

This ^^^^

And I was right then? Oh well.

Just agreeing with the sentiment of wanting this season over and start again in August.
Don't go twisting my words into statements of support for all your policies!

We all know it and can't blame the effort. Players are just not good enough for this level, but worse is that we don't have basic keep-ball skills or a system that makes things happen rather than hoping - bit the English football disease. Clear it's a big step-up to the Prem but not sure we'll even be a good Championship side like this. The football we played in the McGhee era compared to this 'desperate' stuff is chalk and cheese. Adkins good Champ manager and tries to play football gives hope.
