Next Season: I'm looking forward to...

by Jay o/ » 07 Apr 2013 15:29

- Mid-week games
- New home and away kits (I've hated this home kit)
- Possible new kit sponsor and finally the end of Puma
- Same with Waitrose contract ending, though I quite like them
- An interesting transfer window with several ins and outs
- Wishing some of our now past it players well as they move on, and hopefully better new players come in
- The fair-weather/plastics not coming every week and the usual 18-19,000 attendances again

This + hopefully another academy player to come through
Watching the team get rebuilt and a new philosophy being integrated
Another promotion party
And the hanging of Queensley!

Young players getting a chance
Watching QPR implode
Decent parking spaces
Getting a whole row to myself
Seeing Brian back at the Madejski

I don't mind a new sponsor so long as it is not a betting company. I for some reason just don't like betting companies sponsoring teams. I think it looks tacky and/or stupid on a football kit. Maybe because most of their logos are garbage.
That or we could pull a West Brom a few years ago with no sponsors and go full hoops and have a proper kit.

- the club spending less money on media = less Twitter/Facebook dribble
- the club spending less money on matchday experience = less queer goal music/less queensly/less clappers
- mid-week games
- listening to BBCRB again

I have to say I'm hoping for more goal music next season.

Quite looking forward to:

A new away kit (I like this seasons home kit)
Transfer window
More affordable away games
More time on the ball for our players
Smashing Wolves (if they stay in the Championship)
Scoring most games. (please?)

No, good for the team, more goal music means we'll have scored more goals.

If you don't want us to score more goals then that's your prerogative I suppose.

-Being able to get tickets to allof the matches, regardless of the opposition
-Cup run feeling like it means something
-Hero worship
-Away match at Bournemouth (hopefully)
-Less children
-Defenders as slow as Sean Morrison
-The back of Danny Guthrie
-Remembering why we carried Ledge on our shoulders

The back of Leigertwood and some of the other crap unable to pass
Us playing attractive football
Us deserving promotion rather than fluking it
Actually enjoying games again
Beating Brighton

- The chance of winning more games
- Fewer clubs with megalomaniac followings
- Cheaper tickets
- Singing "The Royals are going up, The Royals are going up, and now you better believe us......."
- Not playing Arsenal
- Hillsborough
- Seeing 0 appear in the oppositions scoreline

Couldn't agree more. We need to move on from a Waitrose sponsored family hoof ball club, to some sort of Russian sponsored elitist tiki-taka club.

    Mid week games
Listening to the match instead of watching it (if it is as bad as this season)
    Dom Samz
    Obita
Some other Academy upstart I have not heard of
