Any sightings of this great man.

will he back this season?

Injured.

No he wont be.

Hope he goes in the summer too. Big wage earner, rarely fit.

And like the last several injuries he'll come back not quite 100% and get injured again. We're down. We're done for this season. Let him recover over the summer and then be full fit for pre-season.

Agree...seems to have become a regular casualty of injury ...would replace him with Albert Adomah

I think if Adkins can instil the passing game into our team we will see an even better Jimmy Kebe next season (providing he is still here). Running after long balls and having to track back and play as a defender does not suit his game and is a waste of his talent. If we could get a decent midfield that played short balls and possession football we could get automatic promotion next year. The trouble is we don't real have many players that can play that type of game but Jimmy is one of them. I think we will need at least 4/5 good players to transform the team. At LB, Cm x 2, Lm and another striker. Thats going to cost at least £15m but if we weren't prepared to spend that this year you have to wonder where we will be this time next year

15 MIL??!!

That is an outrageous amount of money to flash in the Championship. If we spend £15 million, I'll eat my hat with a sideplate of flying pig.

Not really. He wants 5 new players - if they're all around £3m, plus signing on fees and agents fees that would comfortably rack up £15m, and probably more.

I think we need a centre back too. Pearce can oxf*rd off as far as I am concerned, so even if he does change his mind and want to sign, the club should say sorry contract offer withdrawn. Leaving a gap

Some of you really need to get real. We might have a budget of say £5m next season plus some high ish earning free transfers, but we wont be spending money like this pleb suggests we need to. We will have to get certain players off the wage bill - Pog, Guthrie and probably Federici. We're not going to spend our way to a promotion. Anton isn't like that, though some seem to believe what they read in the papers and think he is.

Are you an MP Wipped calling me a pleb!! If you read the post it says that is what it would take to turn the team into a passing quality outfit. If we didnt spend that this year how likely is it next year. Kind of agreeing with you. I am now going to get all my mates from the force to gang up on you and oust you from your position- so there.

No chance. We'll need to spend money to adapt to the Adkins style. Not to mention the championship will be very competitive next year; all of the teams in and around the playoffs are looking strong. We won't be able to get away with not spending if we want promotion and from what Anton said in the press conference Adkins will have money to spend.

Surely Reading will get rid in the Summer. Too injury prone.
