Mariappa. What a joke.

Will never forget the glazed look on his face when he realised Lallana was easily waltzing in behind him.

Totally over rated.

If he is the most likely winner this year, as I have said before, the Club shouldn't bother with it.

It really is the hardest to call that I ever remember. Even in past bad seasons there has been a stand out player but not really this season.

Kebe was excellent for the brief period when he was fit but has played rarely. Mariappa has not been consistent enough and seems to be ahead more because of number of matches played than anything else.

Overall for being a consistent 6 nearly every week (despite the views of all those on here that seem unable to see his qualities) I think it has to go to McAnuff.

Would like to know how far adrift you'd be if you took away Le Fondre's goals.

Close between ALF, HRK & Mapps for me, went with HRK because hes improved so much and shows he's up for the challenge, if we can keep him in the summer he will be quality in the championship.

I ended up voting or Bryn because Kebe hasn't played enough and no one else has been consistent.

has to be HRK for me, I think he has always show flashes of class but this season has been far more consistent and easily the most improved.

However I really think that next season its important that we keep players like HRK, but also heavy investment will be needed even just to tread water for a few seasons. I say this because usually the teams that get relegated from the prem have it far tougher simply because they are seen by many teams as a "scalp" - hence why so many big teams tend to struggle.

I went for Carrico on the basis that one pass from his 45mins was classier than anything the rest have produced this season. Mariappa second, HRK third.

Not withstanding the fact that this season generally has been pretty dire all round, but if the club insists on running this this year, then it has to be ALF surely? He has at least:

Got on with the job of 'super sub' without too much wingeing ( until a couple of weeks ago )
Managed to break a premier league record
Showed a little passion and desire to at least try when he did come on
Provided us all, briefly, with a little excitement in January
Seems a nice, humble, Reading kinda guy

So I hope people vote for him and he feels valued enough to stay next season
