melonhead yeah its been just awful i mean, apart from a wembley final, and winning the championship in superb last minute style, and countless last minute goals to snatch victory , where has the entertainment been damnit!
i demand a refund

The entertainment was almost exclusively in January. August, September, October, most of November, December and February, all of March and all of April so far have been devoid of entertainment. Apart from the half time shoot outs and Kingsley and Queensley's on/off romance.

Strange, I thought the performance and football played at the Wembey final was awful and, as a consequence, we were very deservedly beaten by a far better footballing side. As has again been shown this season, fighting qualities alone aren't enough when playing good footballing sides.

as a reading fan , how many times have you been to wembley?
we gave it a real go second half and could have turned it round, despite being outclassed for the first half.

still lol at moaning about it.
you whippersnapers dont know youve lived!

in my day you were lucky if 20 people watched us get thrashed 38-0 from the vantage point of deep within a muddy puddle of piss in the elm park toilets. etc

lol. some of our games in those months were the most entertaining ive ever seen.
we may have lost them, but you cant fault the sheer rollercoaster of emotion and entertainment in those games early on where we just kept going at teams.
yeah we lost, but people pay good money to feel an emotional involvment like that

Agreed, Man Utd at home, Chelsea away were epic, and I imagine Liverpool in the cup (though I wasn't there) fits into this too.

chelsea at home wasnt too bad either, even games like man city away.

this season has been mentally entertaining and interesting.
i think sometimes people get confused between entertainment, enjoyment and getting the result you want.

ok there was no entertainment value away at arsenal, home to spurt, away at villa, home to villa or wigan etc etc etc
but its not been utterly devoid of entertainment.

Make it for free after the total captiulation from the board and/or management of even trying to compete at this level this season.

The answer is 3 times. Suspect I've been around just as long as you and probably even longer. Been there, done it and got plenty of T shirts. The performance that day (and entertainment value) was by far the worst of all three. Yes we came back well for a while in the second half (perhaps Swansea guilty of complacency?) but then conspired to throw all that good work away!

I take it Anton is remaining deluded that we could still stay up, so he can then put the prices up next season.

Come on!! I just want to get the renewal out of the way while I still fancy renewing...

Now that we're getting an extra 3m a year in parachute payments, surely the club can afford to knock a couple of hundred quid off the season ticket prices?

I think we'll be lucky to get them at the early bird price we got last year. I'm anticipating a small increase.

a SMALL increase on this seasons 'renewal' i could live with......keeping it the same as this year's 'new season tickets' would be an outrage
