I've hardly been away all season and this will be my last away game in the Premier League .....for some time, I shouldn't wonder.

I'm the opposite, I think I've been to only three home games, and many away. I want to go to West Ham away regardless of if we're down. Only down the road and should we win it will be pure bliss in spite of our relegation.

Isn't it like £49 a ticket though? I'm not lining their pockets.

best mates birthday and we are all going to the races + I'd have to sub the guy I was going to Norwich so it's all a bit too much effort for how shit we are playing.

Probably waving a giant flag on the pitch pre-match and sitting in the home end.

Still debating this one

Anyone who has been before, is it an easy drive?

No
M4, M25, M11 to Cambridge (area), then A roads from memory.

Well, it is really. It's at least dual carriageway apart from a 5 mile stretch of the A11 between Barton Mills and Thetford.

Of course you could also head up the A1(M) and hit the A505 east at Baldock.

I have relatives in Baldock. Pretty boring town to be fair though. There's a Greek restaurant, a decent fish & chip shop, and a massive Tesco inside a former art deco style factory.

Having driven from Norwich to Reading and back around 500 times I would concur with HH.

It's also worth noting that work to dual the 11-mile stretch of the A11 which isn't currently dualled, is taking place at the moment, the infamous bottleneck, so the delays there will be worse than normal with cones and contractors all over the place.

There's also a new bit of dual carriageway bypassing Baldock which opened a couple of years ago which knocks around ten minutes off that route.

The bit at Elveden? That's a bastard of a road. When's the dualling supposed to be finished?

I think the original end date was early 2015 but apparently they've been cracking on a bit so might be middle of next year. Opening it bit by bit but the whole lot will be dualled eventually. You'll see all the deforestation that's been going on around Thetford if you go that way, which I wouldn't advise.

Nice one. That will make the journey from Stanstead to Fleggburgh slightly more bearable in the future.

Those on the train note that part of the Circle/Metropolitan/Hammersmith line is closed this weekend so take the Bakerloo line from Paddington to Oxford Circus and change for the Central Line to Liverpool Street instead.
