He's currently a free agent to my knowledge. Wouldn't hurt to snap him up and use him next season in the championship (if we don't stay up that is). He's experienced as he has been with Lyon, Aston Villa and West ham. I know his goal scoring record isn't the best, but he is surely a lot better that Pogrebnyak? Plus he is only 33, which isn't too bad, we could even use him for a few seasons if we did sign him.

Why not? Anyone on a free transfer with some premier league experience, can't do any harm
