Lionel Messi has just scored for the 19th La Liga game in a row, a run which has seen him score against every opponent, to put Barcelona 2-1 up at Celta Vigo.
That's 43 league goals this season. Forty-three.

The last time Lionel Messi failed to score in a league game was back on November 3, 2012. That was against Celta Vigo, who he has just scored against.
In this run of 19 games Messi has scored 30 league goals. Will we ever see scoring like it again?

Rodri, at Sheffield Wednesday for the first half of this season, put Zaragoza ahead against Real Madrid. Lol

Ronaldo now equalised.

Bayern Munich 9-2 Hamburg

Apparently they rested quite a few first team players too.

Could have been the first Bundesliga champions before the end of March but Dortmund scored a last minute winner in their game.

It was 82nd minute by Lewandowski but that's beside the point - great bouncewatch. My first Bundeliga game and managed to secure a ticket right next to the Dortmund fans in their away corner at Stuttgart. Walked in and it was like being in the Dortmund end, they'd taken it over

Great atmosphere and ability to drink during games was superb - was in a 'seating' area but all those around me stood all game (in the top tier). Most amazingly of all, nobody died despite drinking at their seats, smoking in their seats and standing all game.

Definitely getting to a Dortmund home game next season.

Didn't feel this really warranted a new thread, but how the hell did Falkirk lose a 3-0 HT lead in the Scottish Cup S/F? Hibs currently 4-3 up in ET........

Espanyol vs Valencia  . Not bad for a "two team league".

Sergio Ramos recently became the youngest European player to reach 100 international caps at the age of 26. Made his debut 5 days before his 19th birthday.

Inter captain Javier Zanetti ruptures his achilles tendon which will likely end his career

He turns 40 before the start of next season and Inter had started talks with him about renewing for another year which apparently he was keen on until this happened. Can be up to 9 months out with something like this.

More than 800 appearances for Inter, captained them for the past 14 years, most capped Argentinian with 145 appearances.

Would be a shame if his career did end like that. But I wouldn't be surprised that as its him Inter don't give him another year anyway.

Would be funny if Bayern win and Gotze put their kit on and joined in the celebrations a la John Terry.

Real Madrid beat Valladolid 4-3 in a great game last night. Quite funny when every time Madrid conceded a goal or Lopez made a mistake the camera would cut to Casillas on the bench.

Ronaldo now on 199 goals for the club.

Atleti drew 0-0 with Depor.

The footballing equivalent of stumbling a little followed by doing a funny little skip and walk to try and convince onlookers that you actually meant to do it

Real Madrid manager Jose Mourinho has hit back at his own player Pepe after the defender said his manager ought to have more respect for club captain Iker Casillas.

"It is very easy to analyse the Pepe thing. His problem has a name, and it is Raphael Varane," Mourinho said.

"I understand that it is not an easy situation but I have to try to be honest and I think that very few don't believe that the future of Real Madrid is Varane and Sergio Ramos."

Love it.

What an idiot. This is a man who earlier this year criticised his best player for taking a quick throw in. He says Casillas has a big ego and thinks he's bigger than the club, well who comes to mind when you think of that description? Maybe Moronho is looking in the mirror whilst he's speaking.

He left the Stadium and didn't even talk to his team after the Valladolid game, he doesn't even look at Casillas let alone talk to him and he has totally isolated himself from everyone, even the Portuguese players who have the same agent as him, including Pepe and were in his corner last season. Of course Pepe knows Varane will take over from him as a regular in the team but that doesn't mean he can't stick up for Casillas.

The Spanish have found him out just like the Italians did and it's only our media who fawn over him and fall for his bullshit.
