I think people are just relieved that Carrico actually made it onto the pitch and could put in any sort of decent performance to be honest.

I dont think he's quite up to starting games just yet, but what do I know. He broke up play really well and hassled like Karacan but actually put a tackle in instead of just pressuring. Once we had the ball back he didnt welly it up the pitch but played simple passes to his teammates.
He reminds me a bit of Gerrard but I havent seen him shoot yet.

Agree with what you said earlier about Carrico, way too early to be calling him our saviour. But it was nice to see him on the pitch and not play badly.

but in those three minutes he did everything a midfielder is supposed to do, and everything ive wanted guthrie to do all season.
run about, put a foot in, retain possession,dribble, pass accurately, make forward passes etc

Also, It's not hard to meet the players. Go for a drink after the game at the hotel, and as you are coming out, so are the players.

Would anyone put a bid in for him? We have him on a reasonably long contract and he's played less than 90 minutes before the club in 4 months. Unless he gets some decent game time (i.e a minimum of 3 starts) in the next 5 games then I can't see him attracting interest.
