2 world wars, 1 world cup
Big Ern
AthleticoSpizz maybe we could lure Martinez in

And back in the real world..........

...Maybe we could lure Bullivant in.

You really think he's going to give up his no 2 role in a soon to be Conference club?

BBC Sport now has the predictor tool on the main page: http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/eng_prem/predictor/default.stm

Now that there's few enough games left for me to be bothered to complete all the fixtures, I ended up with:

17. Norwich - 37 points
18. Reading - 36 points
19. Wigan - 36 points
20. QPR - 30 points

Even being slightly biased, and assuming Norwich continue to be shit, still can't get us out of the relegation zone.

37 points is still sort of possible if we get all our luck at once, and for that to keep us up then the teams above us would have to get 2 points maximum, because of our goal difference.

19 Wigan -28 33
20 QPR -30 26

All in all, pretty oxf*rd depressing.

No way I can see it happening now.

Even if we get maximum points from our five matches, the other teams involved just need to get the below for us not to be able to overtake them :

Norwich : 5 points from 5 games
Sunderland : 6 points from 5 games
Stoke : 6 points from 5 games
Villa : 6 points from 5 games
(omits Wigan & QPR for obvious reasons)

For every game we fail to win, deduct either 2 or 3 points from those targets.

To be honest, if we finish 14th, i'll be a bit pissed off we didn't show a bit more ambition in the transfer window to go for one of the Europa League places.

With their FA Cup distractions, this season I don't think even Wigan will do a Wigan

If by some magic we ended up with 36 points I would be exceptionaly pissed off-that means we were only ever one win /couple of draws from staying up.

In reality I cannot see us winning another game-let alone four.
