Unbelievable. Shouldn't have been on the pitch and where did the ref find all of that injury time?

Should be a 7 match ban like last time he tried to eat an opponent, so hopefully today was his last time playing for an English team.

Bye.

Sanguine I'll defend him against ludicrous over-reaction when he fouls someone, but this incident with Ivanovic is indefensible. What on earth he is doing I don't know. Long ban to follow I expect.

Defend him all you like but the videos posted up earlier this season highlighted deliberate and despicable attempts to injure players, not just fouls.

This today is just another example of that deep routed nastiness that runs through that man.

Brilliant player but utter scum.

I've hated the bloke ever since that deliberate handball in the World Cup.

You don't know that, and the FA don't agree. There were two incidents in today's game, one tackle by Shelvey and one by Sturridge, that were late and high like those you highlighted by Suarez earlier in the season. These tackles get over-analysed, the vast majority are just late, poorly timed, a little reckless.

It's not like the guy doesn't give you enough real incidents to despise. There's something not quite right in his head. He's a real enigma, a wonderful player and by all accounts quiet and genuine off the pitch, but a switch flicks when he crosses the white line; he's also got a current investigation for punching a player whilst on duty for Uruguay. It's a shame to an extent, our domestic league probably won't see him again, not for now anyway, his exit is secured and he'll be off to Bayern or PSG in the summer.

If you can't handle someone having a different opinion to you then you are going to find life quite hard going.

I've always enjoyed Rafa's poker face.

Interviewer: Have you ever experienced anything like this before? <referencing Suarez>
Benitez: What? You mean conceding a late goal?

Oh I can handle different opinions perfectly well.

But I can't honestly believe you find entertainment and anything lovable in what he did today.

So I assumed you were being controversial for the hell of it, which I would find pretty prat tosh.

If you did mean it seriously you're a bit odd.

I really hope Liverpool take some action on Suarez to come out of this looking credible.

The FA will have to ban him for a minimum of 7 games imo.

I'd also like to see retrospective action on Sturridge for his disgraceful tackle on Bertrand. (Nasri also, in today's game v Spurs). Otherwise, the FA are going to look silly again, after taking no further action on Aguero last week.

EVERYONE agrees he is a brilliant player but, in the context of a discussion about what he did today, to say "Love him" is extremely odd.

I have nothing more to say.
