The biting has also overshadowed the disgraceful tackle by Sturridge, which should also have been a red card.

When you look at the Fulham v Arsenal game then yes, it should have

It wasn't even given as a free kick

and Carragher should have a red for two yellow cards when he pulled back Torres. Ref bottled that one too.

Whether he's leaving or not the thing you absolutely do not say is that he's leaving, for obvious reasons.

Graham Souness: is my memory playing tricks on me or do I remember reading in the Post in the seventies that Souness climbed over the wall in a stiffs match at Elm Park and squared up to some fans? (May have been when he was at Spurs?) Can't find it on the internet. If so, that's worse than what Suarez did.

But surely that would have been in the good old days before football sunk so low?

That tackle by Souness for Rangers was appalling. Not that that is particularly relevant to Suarez, it's just interesting hearing these comments from someone who made Phil Parkinson look like a saint.

We could do with a striker with a bit of bite.

In isolation I would say the incident deserves a lengthy ban for Suarez. However, taking the Suarez/Racism event into consideration - surely the FA should deduct points from Liverpool for failing to control their player again.

Manchester United imposed a 4 month ban on Cantona and the FA increased it to 8 months.
Ajax gave Suarez a 2 game ban and the Dutch FA increased it to 7 games.
Liverpool have done nothing. Spineless.

funny one Suarez

his football talent is Liverpool's main chance of reaching the top 4
his mental side is the main reason they struggle to reach the top 4

two seasons in a row now his non-footballing actions will have given him lengthy bans which means he can't put his footballing talents to use to massively improve a basically meh team.

do they take a risk on him staying on the pitch for 38 games next season, and does he even want to stay since it's another season without CL football and only a League Cup to show for it (not that RVP would've sniffed at that till this season)? since he's basically two for two in terms of fcuking them over you'd have to say he's not worth the risk

The worst thing about this incident is the sheer volume of desparately unfunny photoshops that we're having to suffer.

Caught the first 10 minutes of Stan Colleymore on Talksport/Chelsea radio last night and he said he had been researching it all day and had come to the comclusion that Suarez is autistic.
