Not sure how West Ham can justify £49?

They must think they are a big club because their ticket price is.

Had already decided weeks ago I wasn't going, due to the aforementioned £49 rip off. Barring a miracle, we'll be relegated - we might win or draw but it won't really MEAN anything so I'll use the £49 on some booze or something I reckon, instead.

Not really sure what would tempt people to go. If it was coordinated so that the players knew(/thought) it was a statement about rip-off ticket prices, as opposed to forsaking them as players, then there's NO good reason to throw away good money in order to be berated by a bunch of cockney twats whether we win or lose.

OUT - despite probably being my closest game, far too expensive for a couple of hours of West Ham fans revelling in our misfortune. Would rather remember the away game last year :)

This pisses me off. Already subsidised their folly of a stadium as a rate payer, and now being asked to do so again with their wallet busting ticket price. Was keen to go to this one as well.

I won't be going, but really do think that random inflatables day needs to stay the last away day of the season.

It's a tradition and it helps those fans we have who don't read HNA to get involved without any confusion.

Once you start complicating things the end result is less inflatables.

Harpers So Solid Crew There won't be any sort of boycott. Reading fans will pay whatever is asked.
This is the sort of thing star should refuse to run coaches to.
But they won't .

Perfect way to get some positive press for all football supporters. If RFC had any balls they would refuse any tickets, but that won't happen either

Absolutely, 2 great ways for STAR and RFC to get disillusioned fans back onside:

- Remove subsidised travel
- Deny fans opportunity to go to last away game of the season

Genius.

I don’t think anyone would be mentioning a boycott if we had a chance of staying up. Frankly this seems more like a convenient excuse to not have to go and suffer the crap that will undoubtedly be dished out by West Ham fans. I shall not ‘boycott’ the game because of the ticket price, but unless by some miracle we do have a chance of staying up, I will not be going to the game.

I was thinking about it but that price has made my decision pretty easy. OUT.

If clubs are now just going to treat us as customers I'm not going to feel bad about avoiding the Tuesday night trips in November.

Why would anyone want to go to the game anyway?.......if it had some meaning then sure, but we'll be relegated by then....

Because football is football, I don't just go to games because of our League position. I like the whole day out anyway.

I like the whole day out that much that I'll just use it as an excuse to go for a few shants up and around London. Sacking the game off, for sure.

Tossers.

They are getting everyone to try and pay for their new ground.

Which every taxpayer has paid for anyway; and will pay for again (ie thru their tax).

Out.

Save your money and go to a lower league game - the experience/day out would probably be more entertaining

Would be a good gesture if given the ticket price and as a reward for sitting through this season Blingy Zingy paid for the coach travel. Might earn him a much needed publicity boost as well.
