Hampshire Royal If that happens, we'll miss all the tears on TV.
Will that happen this year though? - i mean who genuinely still feels we will stay up

Clyde1998 We can't even be relegated on Saturday, if Villa don't do it tonight.
If Villa lose v Man Utd, we will be relegated if:If Villa draw v Man Utd, we will be relegated if:
- We lose to QPR
If Villa win v Man Utd, we will be relegated if:
- We draw with QPR (also relegates QPR)
- We lose to QPR
- err.. well... Villa win v Man Utd

Now 2 ways we can go down on Sunday:
1. If we lose we're definitely down
2. If Wigan win on Saturday and we draw on Sunday then both us and QPR will be down.
I'm really not looking forward to Sunday! I know we're going down but it wouldn't be nice doing it at home and in front of the Sky cameras. I'd rather we at least left it to Villa winning next Monday so we don't have to be there!

I don't think Wigan can relegate us, as we can still get to 36 points and they will reach 34 if they win.

If Wigan win then if we don't then we can only get 33/34pts

RoyalinBracknell If Wigan win on Saturday then they and Aston Villa will both have 34 points.
If Reading and QPR draw on Sunday then we'd both have 25 points with 3 games remaining so the maximum we could reach would be 34 points
However, Wigan and Aston Villa play each other on the final day. This means that regardless of any other results at least one of them would end up with more than 34 points. (one team getting to 37 points, or both getting to 35 - even if they lost their games for the 3 weeks in between that.)
Hence if Wigan win on Saturday then it's guaranteed at least one team will be relegated on Sunday. If Wigan win and we draw against QPR it's impossible for either us or QPR to overtake both Wigan and Aston Villa.

TBM As SLAMMED said to me at the weekend....
It would be funny if Wigan win Saturday and then on Sunday we are 1-0 down going into injury time and then we equalise sending both us and QPR down

City of London Royal I don't normally give up hope until relegation is a mathematical certainty but even I've thrown in the towel now.
Looking forward to next season, mind. We've had a good innings.
