Whatever........ He was still a major catalyst in us getting to the Premier in the first place........, and for that he can do whatever he wants.

Why on earth is Roberts getting so much stick?? I personally thought he done well for us the first few games he played before his 'injury', conspiracy or not.

As for the criticism for his appearance on the box, so what? You wanting him to sit at home or be out there representing RFC? I didn't hear anyone complaining when Murty was on the box all the time! The fickleness is pathetic sometimes.

AirRaidSiren Why on earth is Roberts getting so much stick??

Because rather than focusing on important issues, like keeping Reading in the Premier League, he has had his head turned by safeguarding his long term career and fighting racism.

You know him personally or this as fact then?

He's done a good job for us until his 'injury'.

He's injured, what else do you expect? Prior to that he put in some excellent displays. I hope he sticks around, he could be vital next year if he's retained his ability.

You should see what they call coco pops in Spain. The literal translation is
"Big Black Monkey Bastard Bangs". And they dont just "turn the milk chocolately" but more "violate its purity and turn everything brown", according to the advert, anyway.

And the recipe is ever so slightly different. Sickening!

Seems like most people turned on him the minute he started campaigning against racism.

Think that probably tells it's own story.

Tokyo Sex Whale That the fans were annoyed he was putting so much time, effort and energy into jumping on to yet another self publicity band wagon when he should be putting as much focus into recovering from injury?

How true. Whenever I am recovering from anything I have always found having an opinion on something sets me back.

I like Roberts but I did question why he was so against the Kick It Out campaign being about all forms of discriminations and not just racism.

It was either because he didn't want the issue being diluted and for all areas of discrimination be brushed into one overwhelmed organisation's intray, or because he hates fags.

Can't understand what all the fuss is about.

He puts over a professional and positive image that does RFC no harm at all. It's great to have someone with such a high media profile at the club.

Interesting... came 24 hours after this;

Jason Roberts ‏@JasonRoberts30
I believe the Championship will be at its most competitive next season.. already looking forward to the challenge.. #bouncebackability

Which suggests he'd be staying on next season. Presume he's received bad news about the injury.
