Delighted that Wolves are almost certainly down though. Scummy club, scummy fans. Despise them almost as much as West Ham. I was there, plus quite a lot of other Reading fans because we had no game. It's embarrassing to look back and realise that I wanted a Warnock team to win a match, though.

Perhaps his injury wasn't all that bad and he didn't push that hard to make himself available whilst the manager he didn't want to play for was still in place. He wouldn't be the first player to make the most of an injury to stay out of the firing line.

Their local paper saying today that Saunders wants to sign Gorkks permanently whether they stay up or not. If they stay up on £25k a week deal, if they go down the terms will be revised.

For Palace, a home draw with Peterborough on Saturday would suffice to place them fifth or sixth absent a Bolton win by at least 3 over Blackpool plus a win for Forest by 6 or better over Leicester
