South Kilburn in CCL div 1 have had some disciplinary problem in the last couple of years, often, if accounts are to be believed, stemming from their manager.

Yesterday appears to have taken it to a level that must surely have serious repercussions with the manager smacking his own player.

"Fennesy was bought on as a sub at half time he gave the ball away or something and their manager shouted something at him Fennesy replied something along the lines of [****!!****] off u c *** then he was taken straight off as he walked off the two exchanged words and faces was in each others started to heat up and a kilburn player held terry to pull him away as that was happening their gaffer kneed him in the balls then smacked him straight in the face then a fight broke out as this was going on we was instructed to leave the pitch and we went and got changed"

CONFN Play Offs 2nd Leg

Guiseley 0-2 FC Halifax (1-3 Agg)
Final PO @ Brackley Town (v FC Halifax) Sunday 12th May, 3pm kick-off.

SOUTHERN League Championship Match
Burnham 0-1 Poole Town

CCLP
Chessington & Hook United 3-3 Farnham Town
Cove 1-0 Molesey
Egham Town 1-0 Bedfont Sports - Egham champs
Guernsey {EIGHT} 8-1 Hartley Wintney - needless to say some scurrilous suggestions of foul play being rumoured here; as this result conceivably confirmed promotion for GFC on the PPG ratio (into the Ryman One South) and thus ensured probable safety for HW in the CCLP too?
Hanworth Villa 3-3 Badshot Lea
Wembley 1-2 Sandhurst Town
CCL1
CB Hounslow United 1-0 Knaphill - taking CB Hounslow up to 6 points!
Mole Valley SCR 1-0 Eversley & California
South Kilburn 2-1 Warlingham - not sure if this result stands or not - if indeed the match didn't finish. - Tbh BOTH of these clubs have a lot of 'History' about them and they have lived up to their bad billing on the last two occasions I've a watched them. The appropriately nicknamed 'Wars' have been involved in a fair number of incidents very recently and SK's reputation is certainly the dingy side of grey. Heaven forbid if the Hellenic lets them move back across - as was rumoured to be happening - and they get to come within a hundred miles of playing our own dear AFC Hinksey - who make Highmoor/IBIS look like Cherubs!
Spelthorne Sports 3-1 Farleigh Rovers
Staines Lammas 4-0 Banstead Athletic
Westfield 1-0 Worcester Park

WESSP
Totton & Eling 0-2 Blackfield & Langley

.. got another 'sneaky-double' in: popped up the Woodcote Rd as far as Berinsfield. Now there's a seriously weird 'village' : seems to have been purpose built for something (USAF/RAF?) none of the buildings pre-date 60's (just Wiki'd it and I'm not far off '....first Village to be built on "virgin" land :? for over 200 yrs') and the local populus would give some of our more 'flamboyant' Whitley/Dee Rd residents a run for their money in the 'dodgy' stakes - my mate from darkest Stavy Rd felt right at home :D . Anyhow saw their club whump Faringdon (twixt Oxford and Sw!nedon) 5-0. Then nipped over the other side of Didcot for a big local match up between Drayton and Steventon - feisty 2-2 draw. Trouble is they couldn't keep the BBQ lit - not sure they've had fire in that part of the world all that long!

Top top work FOC.

Would consider going to conference south play offs. Bumper crowd for that one!

Hope Newport County do it today. Is that live on tv anywhere?

Soft spot for Newport with links to our 13 game winning run and refereeing them many a time.

0-0 still at Wembley with 10 mins to go. Wrexham look the better side but Newport the more likely to score, this could go all the way to pens. Glen Little has just come off the bench for Wrexham.

Newport take the lead with 5 mins left through Christian Jolley who played for AFC Wimbledon when they won 2 years ago. Wrexham now throwing everything forward.

Newport score a second in the 94th min. Cruel on Wrexham they made a very good account of themselves in this game. Would love away to Newport in the League Cup next season.

Just 16,000 at the final. Another 2 fingered salute to high ticket prices. £40+ for non league football?

.... indeed compare yesterday's crowd for the Vase Final won by Spennymoor 2-1 v Tun Wells official att 16,751 - but this was for two STEP05 clubs - I think prices for that started @ £15 - £5 for kids/concessions.

CCL Div 1 Cup Final played at Stag Meadow.

Final score AFC Croydon Athletic 5-0 Staines Lammas.

What a lovely afternoon.

1st half Staines missed 2 or 3 gilt edged chances but Croydon still looked the stronger team.

2nd half Staines were completely over-run, Croydon looking likely to score with every attack. Staines 'keeper made 2 or 3 terrific saves but his defence were ripped apart time after time.

Croydon had quality going forward but I was most impressed with their No 3, who was calmly assured all through the game and confidently two footed which is unusual at this level.

And in the CCL Prem Guernsey won all 3 games over the weekend to gain promotion on the PPG arrangement. Windsor fans are delighted about that as without this season's ridiculous fixture pile up they would have been a very tough nut to crack next season.

Excellent!

Any indication of the crowd size, scorers etc?

A few of our players were meant to be there watching

I was there too - reported official crowd 813 - I'm sure there were a few more than that - a Martyr fan was claiming they brought 600+

Goals scorers : Crusaders: Draycott 46, Herring 104 , Goodyer 107
Martyrs : Newman 50

... spotted Morrison (didn't ask him where the bogs were!) Harte + daughters, Jem , Gunter and a few others plus lots of small children in RFC kit - looked like a nice family ' works ' outing.

Good game Hungerford's all round superior style won the day - they are evidently well coached by Bobby W.

an absolutely belting goal for Merthyr's equaliser too. Very much in the Ronnie Radford v Newcastle mould, although it was a bit too warm for anoraks today.

Pleased for Hungerford though. They probably just about deserved it in the end. Merthyr had more of the ball, but Hungerford created more chances.

Berkshire club in play-off triumph.

3/4 crowd from Merthyr - never seen a support with with so many different coloured shirts!!

Bit of bitterness from one Welsh lad at the end. 'Shit ground, shit support etc.' I enjoyed that after 2 yrs of Swansea ...
