Considering that they have sacked him the day before our game without a replacement appointed (yet), then this has to be good news for our prospects tomorrow.

Brian Kidd in charge for the rest of the season. They have to be there for the taking.

Let's see:

Reading
- Coming off the back of a good victory
- Nothing to play for, no pressure
- Had over a week's break

Man City
- No manager
- Lost a cup final in injury time 3 days ago
- Nothing to play for
- No Zabaleta, arguably their best player this season

If we can't beat City now then we never will.

From the BBC:

Head-to-head
Reading have won their only two previous Premier League home matches against Manchester City without conceding a goal: 1-0 in September 2006, and 2-0 in March 2008.

This has 5-4 royals win with last ditch Alfie winner (9th min injury time) written all over it.

Some outrageous predictions on here. Citeh field a team of players jostling for summer moves away from the club, and players like Yaya Toure who can destroy us on their own.

Reading 1 - City 4

Dzeko getting at least two.

I'll happily stand corrected though (said the man in the orthopaedic shoes).

Bearing in mind that their back up, back up winger is Scott Sinclair - a player that we made look like 1986 Maradona in the playoff final - i'd have to agree.

I'm hoping for a goal fest either way.

Yeah, dangerous when you start to think you're going to win.

If we approach it like a cup tie then they're there for the taking but we'll probably lose 1-0 and slink off back into town 5 mins before the end.
