Definitely at Craven Cottage it's on the league website.

That's a shame. I've asked the club if there will be commentary via Reading player. It'll be finished by the time the main game kicks off and they can get from Craven Cottage to upton park in time surely!

Doubt they'll respond.

Seems a bit silly to have it on Sunday tbh, why not Saturday or Monday evening?

Interesting that the development coach Chris Cummins hasn't been offered a new contract by the club. Presumably they either have someone else lined up, or just don't think he's done a particularly good job. I don't think we've have an academy player really come through the U21's into regular first team action since he took charge of them...

Was it that he wasn't offered a new one?

Anyone from Saints we might pinch?

http://www.readingfc.co.uk/news/article/chris-cummins-160513-824547.aspx?

The club would like to wish Development Coach Chris Cummins the very best of luck for the future as his contract at Madejski Stadium, which is not being renewed, comes to an end this summer.

Chris first came to Reading in the latter part of the 2010/11 season, working predominantly with our under 21s group, and everyone at the club would like to thank him for his contribution and send their best wishes in his next career move.

The club will make a further announcement in due course regarding all contract offers made to players, once conversations have been held with all relevant parties.

Sounds like it to me, though obviously there's a chance they're just covering their backs

Ah yeah, hadn't seen that yet. Thanks.

Wonder if we'll get someone from Saints in?

That may be likely. I've seen the U21's play a few times this season and never been overly impressed by the way they were playing, especially compared to the U18's managed by Dolan and Dodds, so I presume we're looking to bring someone more fitting of the style we're trying to implement.

I know I'm going to regret asking this, but doesn't Graham Murty coach youth or under age sides at Southampton?

Or it may be tied up with going for EPPP Category One. Perhaps he didn't have the right qualifications for that or didn't want to work the extended hours that'd be required or any other myriad of reasons.

We have an U19 team out in Germany for a tournament atm that just beat Wolfsburg 2-1. Obita with both goals.

Les Reed please. Won't happen though, he's very high up in the club.

Thinking recruiting from Fulham is just as likely with Steve Head's connections.
