That Akinfenwa makes me think I could still make it as a footballer. The bloke clearly has a taste for pies.

Never get the cynicism on here - if you don't like it, don't watch and don't post about it. I am enjoying it, so...

He apparently agreed a deal in principle a few days ago, just waiting for all his staff to get their contracts sorted before he signs. Class act.

Very true, but will now never be our manager......which is probably for the best!

Why? What's not to like? Plenty of goals etc. For League 2 football, trust me, this is pretty good!

Northampton didn't have a shot on target....

Hardly a great game of football to watch

Bradford were described today as being, fitter, stronger and more determined, sounds precisely like a PP team ethic to me, well done Phil!

I'm just hoping he gives a few more years yet to clubs outside the Premiership and build up the experience. He could, COULD become a very good top tier manager in time. He's on the right track for sure.

I was there and they comprehensively outplayed Northampton in one of the most one-sided matches I've seen for a long time (*). All of that, but they also had much more invention and creativity, whereas Northampton's only tactic seemed to be "lump it forward and hope the big man gets his head on it". Bradford stopped them doing that and they had no other options.

Aidy Boothroyd is manager of Northampton Town.

(*) excluding Reading this season.

Rooting for Yeovil this arvers!! I've been to Yeovil so many times with the Mrs (her family are from around there) but never been to the ground. And with this I could actually get to a game - with her fecking off to see the inlaws

Oh no Brentford. They were one penalty away from the championship and he smashed the bar, got to feel for their fans.

Peter Beagrie: "He's taken that goal on his middle foot, it's not on his right or his left."

I like the way Uwe has this Brentford team playing.
