Big Foot Fascinating viewing last night. Perhaps I'm being dense - but Panorama revealed "previously unseen" footage, doesn't that incriminate the BBC as part of the cover up?

retro_royal No fans pushed at all remember. None tried to climb over walls to get in. None jade forged tickets. None had no tickets. None were drunk. None went to the wrong section on purpose as right behind the goal in the bottom tier wasn't the place to be. It was all the fault of the police.

Why did no one from the BBC speak out about their footage not matching what the original inquest's verdict was? IMO they're trying to look squeaky clean when in essence, they were part of the cover up.Alexander LitvinenkoBig Foot Fascinating viewing last night. No. When they say "unseen" they mean "never previously broadcast or publicly available." The BBC footage was handed over the WMP for the inquest, and from that point the BBC didn't have it any more. It was only released again last year once the HIP was concluded.

Isn't it astonishing the luck that MUFC have had in never being afflicted by a disaster of this magnitude, given their deliberate penchant for mass jibbing - rushing turnstiles, climbing over walls, forging tickets, being drunk, sitting in emergency stairways...I thank the Lord for the kind way in which he cares for their innocent souls.

Of course some had had a drink, it was a cup semi final and I doubt there has been an FA Cup semi final in history when nobody has had alcohol, but everyone who died was blood tested and only 2 were found to be above the drink drive limit which is about 2 pints.

Majority who died were at the front and in the ground early, so wouldn't have been intoxicated. I suspect a large proportion of those late comers which caused the crush outside the stadium, were in the pub until the last minute.
