Man City spend another £30m on Fernandinho. Financial fair play? My arse.

More overpriced, overpaid 'stars'. Brazil don't think much of him, yet the Man City board quite clearly rate him at a ridiculous price. It shows too that with two players already signed and no manager in charge, they not a club you have a lot of control of when you manage them!

Do they need him? Their midfield is fairly strong with Arteta, Wilshere, Cazorla, Rosicky etc.

They have the skills maybe they need the additional force. Then it's a competition between Wilshere and Fellani to see who can
pick up the most yellows

There are worse 4th choice centre midfielders out there. Maybe Ramsey is ahead slightly.

Apologies if previously mentioned elsewhere, but if Fernandinho is 28 and only has 5 caps for Brazil; how's he got a work permit? 2nd nationality?

Majority of football league clubs have voted to bring international loan rules in line with domestic rules, to ensure no repeat of Watford's 13 overseas loans last season.

They're either going to have to buy them or ship them back. Vidra's one I'd like to see us put a cheeky bid in for.

At last a replacement for Alan Sunderland's late 70s perm could be on the way.

Udinese will want quite a bit for him!

I doubt we will sign somebody like Vydra TBH - not worth the hassle anyway if he doesn't want to come.

Hopefully a few will join though.
