Cypry Would be a good bit of business if true - he's a free agent so we could afford a decent signing on fee, and then a level of salary which won't bust our wage structure for a year (Bridge effectively gets his salary as a reduced monthly payment and a lump sum), then have an option to extend on PL wages if we go back up at the first attempt, and if he's still up to it at 33/34...

Would still prefer to see a younger left back at the club - if Bridge is coming in, it would indicate that Kelly/Gunter would probably be first options at RB - wonder where this leaves Cummings? Could he do a job at LB?

Cummings will remain as cover at RB. Gunter or Kelly first RB, with Kelly as cover for LB. The system would work with no need for any more Left Backs.

Great signing if true. He will not only instantly be able to play the style Adkins wants he will do well and developing the younger defenders.

Watched him play a few times last season and hes still got it.

TBF to BHAFC they wouldn't have bid as their entire management team is suspended.

SSN had 'Bridge signs for Reading on 1 year deal' on their Breaking News bar earlier.. Now it's on Sky Text as 'Set for Reading'

As usual the OS will be the last to let us know if he has signed.

Reading should be the strongest team next year, the rest of the places are up for grabs.

Well I, for one, am very happy indeed.
A couple more signings of this calibre and this will be a fantastic season! :D

This would be a terrific signing!! The only downside to it is that 'Arry might leave QPR leaving them in a better position than if he stays.

Thing is, his missus is going to be having a baby - so he'll get no sleep and his mind will be elsewhere and not on football

THIS IS A BAD MOVE FOR READING FOOTBALL CLUB

They are all popping out kids though, that and having young ones.

They live in big houses, its not hard to sleep in another room

Is that the same missus who was friendly with John Terry?

90k for the last how many years? I'm pretty sure he can afford either a nanny or some sound proofing.

Nope.

But any excuse to post a picture of his current missus:

One Unfounded Rumours and Gossip post, one new signing. 8)

Obviously I knew this because I'm shagging Frankie from The Saturdays and she wanted to move closer to The AfterDark.

Great signing for the club and will provide a great balance in the side if we are playing Gunter at RB too in terms of going forward and overlapping. Hopefully we get the chance to play Chelsea with JT in the side, Team Bridge all the way!

If true, then I hope this is a sing of intent for the coming season! Very good signing
