Big Ern Unless he's awesome on Football Manager, I am not interested.

He's pretty good.

Can't wait for the weekend to be over so we can stop talking nought but Shiite (hopefully). Please let something, anything, happen.

Bit of Reading gossip for you:

Billy Sharp failed a medical at Reading on Friday. The club will out him through a second this week.

The Hooper rumours are true but there has been no medical, just a fee agreed. It isn't clear if the player is keen, or if he has other offers as rehashed by the red tops. Pavel Pogrebnyak is included as part of the deal - if any deal happens!

Royston Drenthe deal is done. 3-year deal and should be signed and completed tonight. That one in particular is a phenomenal signing.

Jimmy Kebe could be off to Swansea or Norwich. Both have placed offers of £2.5m. With Drenthe coming in this is very likely that Kebe will go. The general feeling is disappointment, as he is a fans favourite, but he is also injury prone and doesn't last more than a handful of games at a time.

Interesting to see how accurate your information is. Would love if hooper and sharp came here as well as Drenthe. Would be an absolute class side.

Basically it's what we want to hear as fans, no surprise that it's bullshit from other fans.

Hooper for cash and Pog is a nice idea. Kebe for 2.5m is also a nice idea

This is all sh!t from other threads and unprovable speculation. Give it up.

But at the same time it could be low risk guesswork.

I don't believe any of this, but Pogrebnyak + cash for Hooper does sound like a tidy little deal. Pog would score for fun in Scotland.

The latest FR fun:

19 Jun 2013 22:38:40
Reading FC to complete Royston Drenthe tomorrow

and are taregeting five more signing believed to be:

Denis Cheryshev season loan
Roberto Firmino £5million
Gary Hooper £8 million
Martin Spelmann free
Matthew Kilgallon free

Firmino is the young Brazilian lad that kept Gylfi out of the side at Hoffenheim...

19 Jun 2013 14:37:21
Alex Pearce is set to sign a new contract at Reading

19 Jun 2013 13:10:01
Reading have offered a trial to American u17 captain Shaquell Moore.

19 Jun 2013 12:41:54
Reading are also set to hold a second medical with Southampton striker Billy Jones after he failed the first last Friday.

Change of name to confuse our medical team?

19 Jun 2013 12:41:54
Reading are also eyeing free agent Carlton Cole who will replace outbound Pavel Pogrebnyak who is close to joining Celtic in a £3m deal.

Otherwise it's pretty much all about the Drenthe, Hooper or Sharp

Reading keeper Adam Federici has asked the club for a transfer. Alex McCarthy has overtaken him as the clubs number one, and Federici wants guarenteed first team football. Leicester City are keen to sign the Aussie for approx £1.5m if they do lose Kasper Schmeichel.

Reading4eva.

In fairness, that's at least plausible. Feds wont stick around as a number two.

Is plausible, had we not loaned our other goalkeeper out.

But renewed Taylor's contract. Henly then third choice, or someone may come in. I can't see Feds accepting a place on the bench. He tested BM a few times with his strops. And he's a top end wage earner we could now do without.

o. Completely forgot we renewed Taylor's. That's Federici gone, if not such as waste of money.

I don't think Adkins would be too keen on letting Kebe go simply because of Drenthe's arrival. He's mentioned a couple of times the need to have a squad rather than a team, and to that end he may well want to have two high calibre wingers at his disposal

We don't need six wingers though. Drenthe, Kebe, McAnuff, McCleary, HRK & Obita is total overkill.
