Elm Park Pasty

urz13 The release clause said he could leave on a free.

How was that activated by Reading then?

The question maybe not how we activated the release clause but how we even knew about it. If this wasn't info from the agent/player's side then maybe all that talk about our scouting system being a lot more advanced suddenly has some credence. And if it came from their side, could suggest that he would be interested in joining this club rather than any other. Still won't believe until the cheesy pen and shirt pictures appear.

The release clause was because the Russian team he played for were relegated which meant he could leave on a free. It was activated by Reading asking to sign him. I assume Antons contacts would of told him.

Norfolk Royal
TBM "but ever still comes back to Feyenoord"

"if that chance ever comes certainly"

pcunt can fcuk off for all i care - seems his heart isn't in signing for us

Why would his heart be in coming to Reading though? He'd probably never heard of the place before our interest in him.

Meanwhile, he was born and brought up in Rotterdam and home is usually where the heart is.

All that matters is whether he performs for us. He may grow to love the place and retire to a small cottage in Stanford Dingley.

Or maybe Mortimer.

Just set up a viewing for a 'Mr Royst', wanted to look at a beautiful 3 bed end terrace we've got in Dulverton Gardens. He sounded a little bit like Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink so im only putting 2 + 2 together here.

I could also hear the sound of jet engines in the background so guessing he may have been at an airport.

Will keep you updated of any developments.

The release clause was: If the russian team he was playing for got relegated he could leave on a free if an approach was made. And they did get relegated so yea

Breaking news:

His agent claims the contract is signed but a few niggles are left before an announcement is made.

Bridge, passes it up the line to Drenthe. Drenthe sets his sights....

I like the sound of the potential left flank.....

They think its all over, (Drenthe smashes one in off the bar), it is now. Reading have won the league.
