I've heard on good authority that Drenthe is actually Keith McPherson's younger brother.

Sure it will

So what, he's been at the club talking for 2 days and he and his agent appear publicly very positive, and you think it's all Tom Foolery? Football fans, or the younger ones amongst us have zero patience.

After Tommy Smith, I do not believe anything until the OS says so.

Given Drenthe himself has thanked Reading fans for welcoming him to the club, I think it's safe to say this one is not far off being confirmed.

But I will contain my #meltdown until then.

It's not surprising he doesn't know any more than we do, is it?! He's merely responding to the hundreds of frustrated children who decide it will be done today and then overreact when it isn't.

I would have to admit I found myself somewhat swept up in the anticipation.

Still supremely confident it will go through, along with others.

When was the last time details of a major signing leaked and then it actually happened on the day everyone expected? I can't recall.

If it hasn't happened by Friday, worry. Otherwise, until he signs for someone else, chillax and get on with shizzle.

Apparently, the negotiations have stalled (briefly) over two issues. He wanted it written in the contract that he could have carnal knowledge of any attractive RFC Femail fans. Both the ladies in question said yes but RFC do not think it is a contract issue. Secondly, his request to reside in a local pub whilst he found accomodation in the local area was not seen as a definate plus. Negotiations are ongoing.

Latest comments on Instagram:

'Not yet' in response to someone asking him if he's signed the 'ting' yet

'I Hope so bro' in response to someone telling him he'll tear it up next season.

ZacNaloen He doesn't need international clearance though so that shouldn't be a delay.
