Tahiti - Nigeria will either be very interesting or as much fun as watching paint dry.

The Nigerian team may be too tired as this will be their fifth game in around 3 weeks on their third continent. Either Tahiti may capitalise on their fatigue and lack of preparation or Nigeria will beat Tahiti with minimal energy.

6/4 for Tahiti to score anytime tonight.

I predict Tahiti will concede 23 goals in their three group games. Anyone else?

Doubt it, considering the others are Spain, Uruguay and Nigeria

Pepe the Horseman Over 6 goals in the Nigeria v Tahiti game is 9/2

Anyone else get on? Was actually 6 and over. Could easily have been 10+, which was 80/1.

Well for what it's worth, Tahiti have just shown the likes of Andorra and San Marino that regardless of regardless of who you are up against, just have a f*cking go. No point in turning up, sitting back, rolling over and having your tummy tickled. They had a go and their spirit was excellent. There is only one way to improve and that's to play like that against big nations.

Tahiti were pretty good value. A shambles of a defensive line at time, and a few silly mistakes here and there. But some pretty good ball control and movement and great attitude. If Nigeria had stopped dicking around trying to walk the ball into the net they should easily have had 10, but to be fair to them, Tahiti were a little unlucky not to get two or three and also were a little unlucky with deflections, particularly on that first goal. Which was an utter travesty.

Tahiti vs Spain is going to be the dullest game in history, I wonder what odds you could get on Spain 90%+ of possession? Suarez is going to absolutely murder their back line when teh play Uruguay as well.

A player like Suarez is cynical enough to see it as a good opportunity to substantially add to his international goals tally. In five years time if he has 50 goals for Uruguay, who is going to remember that eight of them came against Tahiti?

Italy v Japan turning out to be the best game yet is a bit of a surprise. I'll have to stay up for the second half now, buggrit.

Couldn't go to bed and miss that in the end. That Italian penalty was ridiculous though.
